Mississippi Gardener Magazine

I am thrilled to have been invited to be a blogger for Mississippi Gardener Magazine!!!

Several months ago I responded to a notice in the magazine submitting my blog for inclusion and had kind of forgotten about it.  So, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the invitation last week.  I will be finalizing some paper work and getting ready to have my posts up and running over there as soon as possible.

Here are some of the reasons I think that this will be a good fit!

If you can survive a catastrophic hail storm and bring a garden back to life then surely you have something to offer fellow gardeners…

hail storm

only real gardeners fill their carts to the brim every time they visit a garden center…

my camera is always ready and butterflies love me!…

I grew this beauty, not bragging, just saying…

I am persistent, still trying to get a ballerina rose going on the fence in Oxford

(even though I am only there sporadically)…

my zinnias this year were all grown by me from seed and I have saved seeds for next year…

and you know by now how much luck I am having with dahlias…

surely I can be as successful in Oxford as I am in Jackson if I just keep trying…

I am willing to take photographs in the rain…

and is there anything cuter than my Camellia

with a camellia

in the camellia room

at the Welty garden?…

I am excited, can you tell?

Have a great week!
