Journeys and Destiny, One Painter’s Discovery

   I am excited to tell you about a one woman art exhibit, “Journeys and Destiny, One Painter’s Discovery.”  My friend, Jackson artist Lisa Paris, is showing her work at the Jackson Municipal Art Gallery from February 4 – April 12, 2014.

Lisa is a 6th generation Mississippian who began her study of art at the tender age of five!  She studied in her hometown of Greenwood and went on to accept an art scholarship from Mississippi University for Women.  She later received a B.S. with an emphasis on art and interior design from The University of Mississippi…

The show’s opening reception is February 13,from  5-8 pm at the Jackson Municipal Art Gallery, 839 North State Street, Jackson.

the long awaited cookbook compiled by The Ole Miss Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management commemorating its’

100th anniversary.
