Easter Reminiscences

For about fifteen years on this day, I was in the throes of hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch party and I am hoping that you will indulge me while I share some Easter Reminiscences!

The first hunt was held in the garden of our former home on Whitworth Street in Belhaven.  The idea was born from some photographs shared by the couple who built the house and had also hosted an egg hunt.  Needless to say it stuck and became a tradition  enjoyed by our family for all those years.

the guest list ranged from babies to toddlers…

I loved looking through the photos and remembering all those Easters together. I wish that I had been thinking more like a blogger when I was taking pictures back then! Amy was somewhere hiding eggs but not in a photo!

    Marsha –

Cheryl Welch forwarded your blog about Easter egg hunts because I owned 1145 Whitworth from fall of 2004 until last fall when I sold and moved to Eastbrooke. Such fun to see early pictures of “our” house and garden. Happy Easter.
