A Glimpse of Africa

Many of you know that number two son is in Africa making the climb up Kilimanjaro as I write.  Let me tell you something about number two – he is no fan of social media.  I try not to beg for photos and updates, seeing how it is not really productive, but he would probably tell you that I do beg.  Thank goodness for number two’s friend George who has kept me updated with regular Facebook posts and pictures.

Thanks to George I am able to share a glimpse of their trip to Africa with you.  The first leg of their trip was spent learning the ins and outs of a working coffee plantation…

They are on the climb up Kilimanjaro and so I will not hear from them for a few days but I am happy to have had at least a little glimpse into their trip.

Number two will find a dog wherever he goes…

Have a great day!

Ditto to Mary Lou – just fascinating……as I was reading I was saying to myself “I had a farm in Africa” from OUT OF AFRICA……I’ll have to play the score from the movie today. (I’m continuing prayers for all.)
