Meet Eudora

My friend and fellow Cereus Weeder, who just happens to be in the throes of wedding planning, pointed me in the direction of Lucky Luxe Couture Correspondence and I am sure glad that she did!

Based in Laurel, Mississippi, this husband and wife owned operation has been featured by Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides Magazine and Mississippi Magazine, just to name a few.  While their location may be a bit off the beaten path they nonetheless claim clients the world over.

Erin Rasberry Napier and her husband Ben Napier are both graduates of the University of Mississippi and children of the storied south.  Erin says of herself that she has an “old soul” – you can follow along with her on her personal blog Make Something Good Today  Having met while in college Ben says that he told Erin he loved her six days after they met and he made sure to marry her “before someone else did.”

A field trip to Lucky Luxe in Laurel is definitely on the to-do list OPP.  In the meantime I couldn’t  wait to share their new creation…

The description and introduction to “Eudora” on their website is priceless…

The South is a curious place—hospitable to a fault, its history layered in art and style and family traditions, with storied culinary delights that are famous around the world, and the Southern literary tradition: one of our very proudest assets. As the beloved author, Barry Hannah, once told Ben in a creative writing course at Ole Miss, “That Eudora Welty. She was a peach,” and the namesake of our most Southern invitation. With chambray accents, rose gold embellishments and a stripe pattern inspired by the bow tied gents you’ll find toasting in the Grove on an SEC game day, your guests will be dreaming of shrimp and grits with ice cold sweet tea before they finish filling out the RSVP.

A fitting tribute to a beloved author whose love of the written word has inspired such a beautiful collection…
