A Sweet Manger

My young friend, a pediatric intensive care nurse in Birmingham, was home over Thanksgiving weekend and as usual she had a project planned.  This time her focus was on felt, needle felting, to be exact and the outcome was a sweet manger scene which will adorn her apartment for the season.

On this second Sunday of Advent I though you might like to see what she whipped up…

It was so refreshing to see her excitement over creating something special to keep the focus on the real reason for the season!

Thanks for letting me share SD!

Thanks for the photos Lee!

Oh, and by the way, I did get the lights on the family room tree – thanks to my helper…

  1. That is so precious, I collect creches. That is one I have not seen and I’m not familiar with needle felting.

I have not tried it myself Susan but I do not think it is that difficult. It is one of those things where the more of it you do the better you get at the technique. Her is precious!

  2. How precious! SD is really creative! It is lovely! She certainly takes after her mother and aunt!
