Looking Back

As 2014 draws to a close I thought a quick look back might be fun.

Writing a blog is a bit like keeping a scrapbook for me and it was fun to take a backward glance to remember the high points of the year. (click on any of the green links to return to the post)

The post that you enjoyed the most was published in February and it was favorite of mine as well…

Needlepoint benches

I Can’t Wait To Show You My Needlepoint Stools

After all, I had worked on those canvases for years and to see them transformed into two stools for my den was a thrill!

In April a visit to the Belhaven porch of my friends Ivy and Frank Alley was a hit…

and no wonder, with all the gorgeous blue and white…

and so the post

Porches: Ivy and Frank Alley

was another bright spot in the year…

May brought a special Bridal Luncheon to OPP and you read all about it!

I had fun with flowers…

and table settings…

In September I had to tell you about a book that I read and show you the intriguing dollhouse which belonged to

Petronella Oortman

I am still amazed by her story…

In early December I let you know that

I Have This Little Hobby

and you were so gracious…

it was the beginning of a new endeavor, named after my little companion…

my ornament collection was so well received that my fingers were flying filling orders right up to Christmas Eve…

And so, as I look back, let me tell you that I am filled with gratitude for each and every one of you.  Many of you I have known for a long time and some of you are new friends.  Some of you are even blogosphere friends and even though we have never met face-to-face I treasure your friendship and you have enriched my life.  I am truly blessed with the most amazing friends and family and for that I am most grateful!

I hope that 2015 brings each and every one of you the best year yet!

Looking forward to all of the adventures that await us…

thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to accompany me on my journey…
