This And That From Atlanta

I write this from the comfort of my own dining room table after having followed the Ole Miss Rebels to Atlanta

to watch them play in the Peach Bowl.

Here are some highlights from the game…

thank goodness Chick-fil-a sponsors this game…

otherwise I would not have had any entertainment for the 4+ hours I sat there…

it was fun to watch the cow fly around the stadium during half-time…

In spite of the dismal performance in the football arena I had a wonderful evening saying goodbye to 2014 and hello to 2015.

What could be better than spending New Year’s Eve with old family friends who so graciously opened their home and cooked a delicious meal for us.

My friend has just the right touch with all of her favorite things.

Love her new coffee table laden with goodies…

I loved all of the hues of blue on her table…

She is committed to the twelve days of Christmas (as were her parents) and so we were able to enjoy her festive decorations.

Tree lights reflected in the windows where wreaths still greeted…

twinkling lights and ornaments…

and Santas old and new guarding the fire…

a perfect welcome for 2015

I hope yours was the same!

I will be devoting some time during the next few days to “taking the house back.”

You?…
