 Burleigh, the last working Victorian pottery in the UK, still operates with original machinery and skills having been passed down from generation to generation.

At the factory clay is molded and decorated by craftsmen and women using a process called under glaze tissue printing.  The designs get transferred using a hand-engraved copper roller onto tissue paper and then onto the pottery.

The project’s goal is to establish wildflower meadows all across the UK.

We all need to be aware of the need for wildflower meadows which are essential for supporting our pollinators while also offering a beautiful landscape!

I’d say the meadow at Highgrove is definitely inspiring…
