Demitasse Cup Collection

I told you last week about a centerpiece that my friend and I were putting together for a luncheon if you missed that click here

The speaker for the Garden Club of Jackson’s Spring Fundraiser, John Grady Burns, had recently published his third book, Collections, and thus the idea was born to have club members create centerpieces using their own collections.

Our demitasse cup collections were combined and our arrangement took shape…

my friend brought some of her vintage books and we added a few in…

I had picked up some beautiful moss on the side of the road while in Atlanta and it provided a soft cushion for some pretty cups…

we borrowed some mercury glass candlesticks from a friend to add different layers…

we had so much fun putting our collections together…

There were twenty tables of collections with each one being unique and beautiful

and I will show you some more of those in a later post!

I hope you enjoy our collection and display half as much as we did…

It was really so much fun! I like to mix in herbs in arrangements all the time. Shortly the mint will be prolific and it is my favorite because it smells so good! Enjoy your day Gina!
