In my issue of Cabana  the article is accompanied by several sketches she did while collaborating on  numerous decorating projects with Renzo Mongiardino, a childhood friend and design partner.  The sketches she made of her design ideas were shared with him through letters and some of these are the ones pictured.

She had me at “First idea for the realization of a painted furniture”…
