Botanical Arts At The Newport Flower Show

I recently made my first foray into creating a botanical arts entry for a Garden Club of America Flower Show.  Knowing how much work goes into creating one of these masterpieces, I was excited to see what genius the entries in botanical arts at the Newport Flower Show would reveal.   I was not to be disappointed!

The show theme, American Beauty, honored George Bancroft and the rose he collected.

The Botanical Arts Division consisted of four classes.

Class 1 – Necklace…flawless

Instructions were to create a necklace of great importance, flawless and beautiful, created from dried plant materials.
