Happy Sunday and A Happy Garden

Happy Sunday!

I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July celebration!

What could be more appropriate than to show you a private Newport garden whose owner just happens to be named Happy!

Her garden is actually a series of small gardens…

  1. Youmust have taken thousands of photos when you were in Newport…this is a lovely garden and the dog on the wall so cute.

I do not even want to know how many photos I took! I’m still in the process of downloading and editing but it is fun to relive the trip through my pictures. Loved the little dog and it was so cute getting a drink from the “bowls” in the wall!

  2. What “nibblers” did she have- and what did they do to control them? Peter Rabbitt has now found my garden and has eaten every Diamond Frost to the nub! I already fight the deer, and now this! It’s like adding insult to injury! Did she have any tricks?
    Love the garden!

Oh yes, it was Peter Rabbit that she was keeping out of that cutting garden. She had used fencing with chicken wire to keep them out!
