The Blue Garden

The owner’s request was for a garden fully concentrated with purples and blues.  The opening of the garden in 1913 was celebrated with “The Masque of the Blue Garden.”

After the deaths of the original owners in 1941 the garden was neglected leading to the eventual subdivision of the property.  In 2012 the property was purchased and under the guidance of Dorrance Hamilton, the restoration of the Blue Garden took shape.
