Out and About in Nashville

I traveled up to Nashville to see daughter over the weekend and we had so much fun out and about in Nashville.

I was excited to finally have dinner at Husk after trying to get a reservation each time I’ve been here this past year…

The restaurant is located in a beautiful home that is listed on the Historic Register…

A nice young man approached as we were waiting to be seated and asked if we were from Jackson?!?!  It only took a second for me to realize that he is a childhood friend of number one son and guess what?  He is the manager of Husk!!!  We have his number now and I will definitely be visiting Husk again…

The charcuterie platter was outstanding…

Somebody at our table ordered dessert…

After that dinner the first thing we did Sunday morning was to head over to Percy Warner Park for a big hike…

Nashville had aig storm last week and this was one of 5 downed trees we encountered…

View from the top…

A brush with some local wildlife…

And then there was more sustenance to be sought…

image

This is another spot I would revisit…

Brunch was great but I’d love to see the space at night…

We squeezed in a bit of retail therapy…

image

And did a lot of snuggling…

I hope your weekend was just as much fun…
