Fleaing on Friday

I enjoyed a bit of fleaing last week when I visited daughter in Nashville.  I had spotted this establishment on an earlier trip to Home Depot but had not had the opportunity to visit until now.  When a friend recommended the Gas Lamp Antiques I made it my business to head over…

This is a vast antique mall filled to the brim with just about anything you can imagine.

There were several pieces of pretty iron fences that I could give a home to…

image

This would be especially fun for a Stewart family…

image

I’d love to see this built out as a bar or sideboard for an outdoor kitchen…

image

Tiara anyone…

image

Daughter is still on the search for a bar cart so I’m always looking…

image

She preferred the black…

image

There were so many pretty water colors that would easily incorporate into the decor here OPP…

image

Loved these lithographs…

image

I’m a sucker for bamboo and this pretty painted table is a find…

image

image

I did not allow myself to set foot in this room as I knew that I would get bogged down in all the books and miss the rest…

image

But I couldn’t resist taking a peek at these…

image

I know we would be friends…

image

Tole anything, yes please…

image

Speaking of, I have a tray just like this!  I love how this pair has been turned into a two tier rolling cart…

image

A vintage dollhouse gets me every time…

image

Ditto for ironstone…

image

Swinging cows tee hee…

image

If the black bear Rebel fans wouldn’t have had a fit I would have grabbed them and stuck this dapper pair in my suitcase…

Have a great weekend…

  1. Enjoyed this! If ever in Nashville this will be a priority visit!

  2. Just saying those two cow figurines would work well for this Milkman’s Daughter.

  3. Re: the bulldogs. Maybe you could name one ‘Winston’ and the other ‘Churchill’ and get away with it. They would even be cute on a dresser to hold your necklaces or with a little bowl/dish attached to possibly corral your earrings and your husband’s spare change (if he’s like mine). They are versatile boys.

Looking forward to the bullion fringe project!

Great idea! Yes, I am looking forward to the fringe project completion too! I will be letting you know how it turns out.

  4. And I don’t know how you left that chinoiserie bar cart behind! Tole = a good thing, and so does chinoiserie. It would be perfect to use inside or in a garden for outdoor entertaining. Love the color, too.
