Holiday Potpourri

The long anticipated event my neighbor and I have been preparing for arrived with the first flush of fall last Friday.   A neighborhood school – First Presbyterian Day School –  held its annual fundraiser, Holiday Potpourri, between our houses and in the boulevard…

Come right in…

I made a quick dash over to my neighbor’s before the event really kicked in…

Santa is always dressed for the occasion in her kitchen…

I thought the way they closed our boulevard for the pop up restaurants was cute and clever…

The jeep awaits the thirsty…

My number one’s godson helping me with some school spirit…

My front porch mascot even got into the event…

And we’re all done…

Do you have any photos of your garden? Surely would enjoy seeing some.
It was a great day! Thanks again for your hospitality.

Yes I do Carey! I left town the morning after HP but will be happy to do a walk through the garden when I get back home and post it for you! Thanks for coming and enjoy your day!

  2. Looks like a grand affair. Wish it was around here – I would be the first customer. Love your neighbor’s house!

Well I wish you did too, we could have such fun! Her house is amazing and always dressed appropriately for the season!

  3. Everything looks so beautiful Marsha! Your porch is gorgeous. I love Newks iced tea when I am in Jackson. Today I saw Primo’s cheese-straws for sale in a local small grocery here in Dallas. I give them as gifts during the holidays, but have always bought them in Jackson. So excited to see them here! Hope the fund-raiser was a great success.

Thanks so much Sherry! It was a grand day and there were so many folks coming through that I just know it had to be successful for them. I hope that I am able to find out from them as soon as they get all of their numbers figured out. Exciting for Primos to have expanded to Dallas. Virginia was here for the fundraiser so I will have to mention it to her and congratulate them!
