Garden Walk

Some of you have reminded me that I have not given a garden tour this spring!  So here we go…

The weather has been so strange and suffice it to say the garden has reflected that…

Everything was ahead of schedule!

peonies bloomed early and didn’t last nearly long enough…

IMG_4202

sweet peas were planted in the raised beds and seemed happy so I will repeat this next year…

IMG_4242

I moved one clematis to train on the trellis in my rose bed and again, it seemed to like the location so it will remain here…

IMG_4231

Peggy Martin continues to thrive as the headliner for the rose wall…

IMG_4210

the few iris blooms I had were pretty but they were lonely…

IMG_4206

jasmine, however, bloomed its head off and gave the garden that sweet summer scent for weeks…

IMG_4258

several new David Austin roses made their way into the garden this year…

IMG_4232

the dahlias got off to an early start…

IMG_4328

you know I love that…

IMG_4329

I hosted my luncheon club last month and enjoyed getting the garden all dolled up for that…

Happy weekend and Happy Mother’s Day to all of you…
